Corporate Responsibility

For the E.ON Romania Group, corporate responsibility is a fundamental aspect of the way in which we perform our activity. We think and act in a responsible manner, because we are convinced that each of us is responsible for the environment and community in which we live. We develop a corporate culture, at all organizational levels; we offer models and examples of involvement through what we are and what we do.

We get involved in trying to solve the problems of the community and we are interested in finding solutions for these problems.

"Pentru societate" Foundation

For the support of E.ON Group’s values and in order to prove our long term commitment towards society, at the beginning of 2008 we founded, together with ACS Kinder, the "Pentru societate" Foundation, a non-profit, charitable organization distinct from the commercial operations of E.ON’s companies in Romania, whose purpose is to offer and promote programs and services to the benefit of local communities.

Through this foundation, we are getting involved in the social and cultural development of local communities. To this extent, we would like to promote children’s rights, to develop stimulating educational and sports programs, to get involved in projects for the prevention of social abandonment as well as in other programs aimed at helping under-privileged social categories.
